What does David confess (a) that he is in God’s sight; and (b)
that God can be to him and do for him? Have you similar cause to ‘sing a new
song’ (verse 9)?

What special lessons for spiritual leaders of others can be
learnt from this psalm? In particular, how do David’s prayers express the
special needs of a person with responsibility?
